Boiled Sweet Potatoes (Sakkarai Valli Kizhangu)

Root vegetables are good for health. Sweet potatoes are rich in beta carotene. Steaming or boiling this vegetable will help in acheiving the maximum nutritional benefits.   • Chakaraivalli kizhangu (sweet potatoes) – 4
  • Water – 4 cups
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp

Method of Preparation:

Wash the vegetables until there is no dirt. Cut them into 2 or 3 pieces. Boil water in a container and drop the potatoes. Cook until tender. Finally add salt and turn off the stove.

Remove from water, let it cool and peel the skin and enjoy the snack.
